A Trip Down Memory Lane: Nostalgic Photos That Are Making Us Feel Absolutely Ancient

We’re not sure why McDonald’s brings back so many feelings of childhood nostalgia, but it certainly does. Today, you’ll get your meal from the Golden Arches in a cardboard box inside of a paper bag. In the past, we used to get them in this polystyrene packaging instead, printed with the logo.

Naturally, with people being more mindful of the environment and recycling, these things rapidly became outdated. They’re difficult to recycle and nowhere near as environmentally friendly as paper boxes. But we used to have lots of fun trying to rip the package apart to get to the delicious burger inside!
