Amusing and Confusing Texts Between Landlords and Tenants

Just as we can be picky when looking for an apartment, landlords can be picky when choosing tenants. Sometimes, they’re reluctant to sublet their property to people who might not treat it with respect, throw one too many parties and potentially trash the apartment. It seems like Dennis might be one of those overly suspicious landlords.

When he saw four cars parked in front of the apartment, he suspected his tenant might be throwing a party. When he asked him about it, Dylan calmly explained that there were only four cars outside the apartment (how is that “a lot of cars”?) and none of them has anything to do with him. However, he admitted he was hosting poker night the next evening.
