Amusing and Confusing Texts Between Landlords and Tenants

We’ve started to think landlords care more about the appearance of the house from the outside than what it looks like on the inside. This landlord noticed a weird object on the balcony and had to inquire about its purpose. What’s with all the nosey landlords around here? According to him, he was just trying to follow the rules of the building.

Either way, and even if he’s right and he’s just following the rules, it’s rather weird that he happened to look into their balcony and see this plant pot. Why was he even looking there? Was he checking on them to make sure no random rules were violated? If so, he isn’t just nosey, but somewhat creepy as well.
