#12: Mara Wilson
The world had high hopes for Mara Wilson, who seemed like she was going to take over Hollywood at nine years old. Few people who grew up around the 90s do not know of the classic childhood movies Matilda and Mrs. Doubtfire. These films sparked whimsy and imagination all across the country. Before the Harry Potter series, Matilda inspired children to wave their fingers and attempt telekinesis to move objects around and punish their enemies just as she did.
Ever wondered what happened to that adorable little genius who played Matilda in Matilda? Mara Wilson is now a thirty-five-year-old woman. She dedicates her time primarily to her writing career. After she grew out of her cutesy, little girl phase, Mara had a difficult time finding roles that suited her, so she pursued her other passions.
