#14: Vanilla Ice
Robert Van Winkle, more widely known as Vanilla Ice, is quite the character. Without a doubt, his album “To The Extreme” became one of the fastest-selling hip-hop albums of all time. Some call him a one-hit-wonder, but Vanilla Ice changed the course of rap and hip-hop music forever with his hit single, “Ice Ice Baby”.
Ice was dancing at the Club City Lights when he was first noticed and discovered. In 2009, he changed course and started his own home renovation reality show called The Vanilla Ice Project. Each episode featured him working on a different house. Since then, he’s even had a book published about how to be successful in real estate.
