#15: Agnetha Faltskog
The Swedish pop group ABBA was one of the most popular bands in the world in the 70s and 80s, selling around 385 million records! With all of this commercial success, it’s a wonder why they quit the band. In case you didn’t know, the band consisted of two married couples who wound up divorcing within two years of each other.
Surely it was tough to be in a band with your recently divorced ex. In 1982 the band disbanded. Although, they claimed the band’s separation was not likely to be a permanent one, as they’re still friends. Falskog spent time studying yoga, astrology, and riding horses. The band wouldn’t release another album,Voyage, until forty years later, in November 2021.
