#30: Daniel Day-Lewis
Did you know? In 2020, The New York Times ranked Daniel Day-Lewis third on the list of the 25 Greatest Actors of the century. Needless to say, he continues to be one the highest regarded actors of our time. In 2020, he came out of retirement to play the role of Abraham Lincoln in the documentary, “Unfit: The Psychology of Donald Trump”.

Otherwise, he did not make a movie in three years (shortest retirement ever). Lewis began acting in the seventies and focused his attention primarily on acting in plays. Since then, he has been in at least twenty four films and eight TV shows. Lewis was awarded three Academy Awards for Best Actor. He’s also spinning heads lately for his “hispter” fashion choices!
