#32: Jon Gosselin
An unassuming Jon Gosselin first got a taste of fame when his wife, Kate, gave birth to sextuplets and it was featured in a newspaper. The couple already had twins, so the new arrivals made eight kids in total! Discovery Health heard about their story and decided to dedicate them an episode called “Surviving Sextuplets and Twins” in 2005.
They did a follow-up episode a year later which was eqaully successful. So much so, that in 2007, the network decided to offer them their own show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. However, the couple got divorced in 2009 and the network booted Jon off to focus on Kate. Ever since then, John has worked multiple jobs to support the large family.
