#5: Brittany Ashton Holmes
Brittany Holmes played the adorable little girl, Darla, in the cult classic film, The Little Rascals. She played the love interest of the spunky, love-sick Alfie. Darla’s ultra-feminine ways added plenty of charm and laughter to the movie. Although she took on a few other roles in horror and thriller films, these seemed to contradict her squeaky, clean image as Darla.
The unusual part choices were very different from the comedic, family films she had gotten her start in. Brittany decided to retire from acting just two short years after playing Darla in The Little Rascals in 1996. Last we heard, she was living in Los Angeles and working at Starbucks while completing a degree in political sciences.
