In 2014, Clint Eastwood showcased his versatility by directing Jersey Boys, a cinematic adaptation of the Broadway hit The Four Seasons. Despite heavyweight producers Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio’s involvement, the film made $67 million.

Eastwood also helmed American Sniper the same year, stepping in after Spielberg. The film, recounting sniper Chris Kyle’s life and played by Bradley Cooper, became one of Eastwood’s biggest successes, amassing $550 million worldwide.
