Martin Rosner has become a fairly popular artist on the internet for his comic series Hot Paper. Amassing quite a following on the likes of Instagram and Patreon, it only takes a moment to look at his comic and see why he’s so well loved. Hot Paper covers a variety of different topics, ranging from the truly absurd to comfortably wholesome. And yet, each of the comics has a sharp wit and a distinctively unusual twist that is generally unexpected. We’ve gathered a collection of some of our favorites of his comics for your viewing pleasure.
1. Probably Should Have Used the Magic Carpet
Well… this is awkward. This wizard is clearly more used to newer, shinier ways of travel. Probably either teleporting or automatic. He and the witch might just have to spend a day in at the tower and make potions over the cauldron.
Technology evolves, and so does magic, apparently! Broomsticks are out of fashion now, at least in the wizard community. Hipster witches are keeping it alive though, it’s a classic after all. Maybe they’ll share a broomstick?
