Disney Employees Spill the Beans About Working at the Happiest Place on Earth

Our sense of smell can bring back memories and immerse us in an experience. The Imagineers at Disney know this, and they use it to their advantage in the parks. Disney has patented Smellitizer machines throughout their parks that pump certain scents in certain areas of the park. These smells make our experience at Disney that much more vivid and memorable.

It’s pretty genius, actually. Next time you visit, keep the Smellitizers in mind. You might consciously notice the delectable smell of cinnamon and vanilla on Main Street, or the briny ocean smell around Pirates of the Caribbean next time. We wish we could bottle these scents up and take them home with us! (Okay, maybe just the cinnamon and vanilla scent…)
