The Anglin Brothers
Hailing from the peach-strewn landscapes of Georgia, the Anglin duo were but two sparks in a family fire of thirteen children. Their early years were a nomadic dance, moving with the seasons in sync with the rhythm of farm work. This shared journey of soil and sweat nurtured an unshakeable bond, a brotherly camaraderie that outlasted the innocence of their youth and ripened well into adulthood.

Every year, the family embarked on a thrilling journey northward, lured by the cherry-picking season. They plunged into the icy embrace of Lake Michigan, their laughter echoing across the vast expanse of water. As they frolicked, they unknowingly honed their swimming prowess, a skill that would later be their ticket to freedom. Little did they know, these innocent summers would become instrumental in their daring escape from the notorious Alcatraz.
