#17: Notting Hill
Set Piece: The Bookshop
Location: London, England
Production Budget: $42 million*
The bookshop in Notting Hill was inspired by a real one called Travel Book Co, found at 13 Blenheim Crescent. In the movie, Hugh Grant plays a bookstore owner whose life is turned upside down when Julia Roberts, a famous actress, walks in. Their photo together sparks a huge media frenzy.

Obviously, the bookshop is a big deal in the movie. After the film, Travel Book Co. became known as “The Notting Hill Bookshop.” Even though Travel Book Co., established in 1981, has moved, you can still visit the original storefront, and fans will recognize it inside that movie.
