#46: Arachnophobia
Set Piece: The Jungle
Location: Angel Falls, Canaima National Park, Estado Bolivar, Venezuela
Production Budget: $49.85 million* (Adjusted For Inflation)
If creepy crawlies give you the heebie-jeebies, Arachnophobia might not be your cup of tea. But for the brave souls out there, get ready for a wild ride through the lush jungles of Venezuela, where the movie’s spine-chilling scenes were filmed. Look out for Angel Falls, a jaw-dropping waterfall that adds an extra layer of awe to the backdrop.

Believe it or not, most of the spiders you’ll see in the movie are the real deal. Around 200 Delena spiders made their creepy-crawly debut, with the infamous “Big Bob,” a giant Amazonia tarantula, stealing the show as the biggest, worst arachnid on set. Brace yourself for some serious chills!
