Jennifer Garner’s perspective on religion underwent a transformation following her involvement in Miracles from Heaven. The film’s poignant narrative centers around a young girl who shares her extraordinary journey to heaven and an encounter with Jesus Christ. Garner’s immersion in this project had a profound impact on her, leading her to make significant changes in her spiritual life.
Inspired by her work on the film and her conversations with her children, Garner found herself drawn to the sense of community and structure that church provided. Consequently, she made the decision to become a regular attendee of Sunday church services and arranged for her children to be baptized in their hometown church. Reflecting on this shift, Jennifer Garner candidly expressed, “There was something about doing this film and discussing it with my kids that made me realize they were seeking the sense of belonging and structure that church offered, and that’s what led me down this path.”
