One former hotel employee warned everyone to avoid a common amenity offered at most hotels. According to them, you should never, under any circumstances, use the drinking glasses the hotel provides in your room. If you do decide to use them, make sure you wash them before you do. 

You might be wondering why these glasses should be avoided, but it really doesn’t take too much imagination to figure it out. According to this former employee, those glasses are hardly ever washed properly and are most likely crawling with germs. Depending on where you stay, those glasses might never be changed out unless they’re very obviously used. There are rumors that some hotels don’t even wash the used glasses- they just wipe them down and put them back!
