The Lion King is a timeless Disney classic. We’ve all watched the movie growing up, and it’s one of those films we can watch over and over. The animated children’s film accompanied us throughout our childhood, and we’ve all shed a tear at the heartbreaking scene when Scar pushes Mufasa off the cliff, leaving Simba an orphan.

Simba and Mufasa are an example for an inspiring father-son relationship, and even after his death, Mufasa keeps guiding Simba in life with his wisdom and kindness. For Christmas, this kid asked that Simba’s dad would wake up. It’s amazing how movies can get to us, isn’t it? Perhaps this scene was just a little too much for kids.
