#5: Age 22
They say don’t drink and drive – and that applies to riding giraffes as well. We have a pretty good idea as to why this kid is asking for a giraffe – he plans on riding it. We especially like how he demonstrated the items on his list with little drawings – a giraffe that says “neigh” and a helicopter, and even a drawing of himself (we can only assume) at the end of the letter. The drawings are not bad, actually.
And let’s get to the best part of the letter – the third and final item on this wish list – beer. Scott is a smart kid, and he knows that beer is for adults, so at the end of the letter, he made sure to write his “age” – that’s above the legal drinking age. Of course he isn’t fooling anyone, and Santa knows his real age, but you have to appreciate his effort!
