#47: Don’t Overcomplicate Things
I want to give us just a little more credit than this person does, but overall, the sentiment is true. When dealing with the average man, it might be safe to assume a low level of intelligence, certainly of emotional intelligence. So, dumbing the language might be an appropriate solution.

It’s not that we are imbeciles who don’t understand anything at all. It’s just that we need things to be made clear and explicit instead of leaving a lot to subtext. All the implying, inferring, and interpreting is just a little bit too much for our primitive hard drives to easily compute.
