Keep It Trashy
A lot of HOAs have rules about how residents can store their garbage cans and containers. Apparently, we all have to pretend that trash isn’t a part of everyday life. This person’s community HOA doesn’t let residents store their trash cans anywhere that’s visible from the street. They stored their bins on the side of their house, but that wasn’t good enough.
An HOA member with too much time on their hands discovered that this person’s bins were visible from the street when they looked really hard from a certain angle. How uncivilized! So, our storyteller was asked to move the bins to the garage or the back of their house. They opted for the back of the house, since that was a way more visible place than the original location at the side of the house. Now, everyone can see the trash bins from the main road. How cute!
