The director admitted he struggled to find the right moment to include a kiss in the film. That’s when Blunt took the initiative. During one of the final scenes, she spontaneously approached Cruise’s character and kissed him. Blunt later explained that the moment felt natural, and she believed it needed to happen for their characters.
