Three Men and a Baby (1987)
This next most-paused scene doesn’t have as familiar a title as some of the others, but the director was actually Spock, you know the guy from Star Trek? Yep, Three Men and a Baby was directed by no other than Leonard Nimoy, and is definitely a movie collection classic from the eighties.

This Star Trek legend strangely added something to the movie that watchers would pause literally every single time they saw the movie. Nimoy actually had Ted Danson, in cardboard cutout form, just hanging out in the background of one of the movie scenes, for no apparent reason. Imagine playing pranks on your friends like this!
