That may be part of why kids find it so easy to believe that Santa Claus is real and hang on to that notion for as long as possible. In all honesty, I wish I was still naïve enough to believe in Santa; thinking that Santa and his elves are real might make the world seem like a better, happier place. However, we all know that Santa isn’t real – and some people had to learn that the hard way.
