There’s nothing that says Christmas quite like watching a Christmas movie with the family. There’s almost nothing that can ruin such a magical moment – except for finding out that Santa isn’t real. That’s how this kid found out the harsh truth. Now, we don’t know which Christmas movie they were watching, but it’s probably ruined forever for this person.
The whole scene sounds pretty dramatic; his mom gasps audibly, and the kid bursts into tears. Personally, I don’t get why finding out that Santa isn’t real is so heartbreaking. Maybe it’s about realizing the world is not the magical place you thought it was and losing some of that childhood innocence…
