The Real Santa
A lot of these stories have to do with parents not being careful enough around their kids. We’re all human, and we all have unfortunate slip-ups, so we can’t really blame them – but at the same time, it sounds like a lot of these situations could have been avoided if parents had just been more careful and mindful of their words.
I guess it’s easy to forget that kids are just kids, and there are certain things you can’t say around them. It must also be hard to pretend that certain things are or aren’t real just for the sake of the kids. All it takes is one moment of distractedness, and you could easily blurt out something stupid. We’ve all been there, unfortunately.
