#30: Getting Schooled on Christmas
If you went to public school in the 90s or early 2000s, you probably remember the annual Thanksgiving or Christmas lunch served in the cafeteria each year. We don’t know for sure, but we have a feeling it was the same meal served nationwide. Shredded turkey, a ton of gravy, a hard roll, and mystery mashed potatoes.

Well, it seems that school cafeterias are still serving up the same gruel for the holidays. Here, we have the same shredded turkey and glutinous gravy served atop a piece of white bread. Delicious. At least there’s a splash of color with the cranberry sauce, which looks like the most edible thing on this plate.
