#19: The Early Days and Rise of Bill Murray
In 1968, Bill Murray completed his education at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, pursuing pre-med at Regis University, Denver. His academic journey was short-lived, leading him back to Chicago, where he, alongside brother Brian Doyle Murray, embraced comedy with Second City.
Bill Murray’s siblings, Joel and John, also ventured into acting, influenced by performances given for their dad, Edward. Working as caddies at Indian Hill Golf Club, they found inspiration. This led Brian to co-write ‘Caddyshack,’ starring Bill as groundsman Carl Spackler.
