#6: Reading Maps
Before the advent of satellite navigation, road trips often meant getting hopelessly lost and sparking arguments. This was common until technology evolved, and by the time millennials started driving, paper maps had already become obsolete. The introduction of satellite navigation systems marked a significant shift in how we explore our surroundings, making physical maps a relic of the past.
Nowadays, even the car’s built-in navigation systems are becoming outdated, overshadowed by smartphone apps like Google Maps and iPhone Maps. These apps have simplified travel, allowing users to easily input a destination and embark on their journey without the hassles of map reading or heated debates about missed turns.
