#37: Pareidolia
Pareidolia is the phenomenon of seeing faces in buildings, and it definitely applies here. That building looks as if it’s ready to consume souls, and I can’t blame that kid at all for hiding around the corner. While the location of this photograph is unknown, the style is very similar to Arabian and Moroccan architecture.
I wonder if the architect knew what they were doing when they created such an ominous facade with the green lighting within all that gorgeous beige sandstone. Either way, I would love to visit this place. That kid and I would be best friends, playing hide and seek. I will certainly be avoiding that building, though.
