Spooky Buildings That Put Us in a Halloween State of Mind

If ever there were a building designed specifically to warn people away, this is it. This is a WWII bunker in the British Isles, occupied from 1939-1940. It’s located on Guernsey Island, which at the time was under German control. This building, along with several others, was built in an attempt to hold the islands hostage.

Today, it’s a well-known spot for tourism, with historical tours available for anyone interested. I have to admit I love history, but that bunker is not a place I have any interest in touring, especially with the lighting making it seem like a giant robot that could come alive at any point in time and swallow me whole.
