Spooky Buildings That Put Us in a Halloween State of Mind

Portugal is supposed to be a beautiful country with fascinating culture and welcoming people; it has everything to offer its tourists, from beautiful nature to unique architecture – including this one in the picture below. I’ve never been to Portugal, but it’s definitely on my bucket list. This photo, however, doesn’t do it for me.

This isn’t an old castle housing vampires, as one might suspect, but a famous chapel in Portugal. It’s called The Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias and sees many tourists every year. One Reddit user posted this photo from a foggy day, thinking this was a scary, abandoned church, but people were there to correct his mistake – not a church, and not abandoned, but definitely scary.
