#55: Someone Missed the Memo
The Al Hamra Tower is the tallest in Kuwait City, and its reflective surface can give it an ominous vibe at certain times of the day. It was built in 2011 and holds office buildings and shopping centers. It has 83 floors, 45 elevators, and is 1,358 feet tall. As it towers above neighboring buildings, it sticks out like a giant cobra.
Kuwait City holds 70% of Kuwait’s population, with three million people living in 77.2 square miles, about the same size as Madison, Wisconsin. Kuwait has astronomical oil reserves, making it one of the wealthiest countries in the world per capita! As it turns out, it also has ominous structures.
