#7: A Space Crash
A car crash is pretty serious, but can you imagine an intense crash in space? The damage is almost unimaginable. Thankfully, we have this photographic proof of just how intense a space crash can be. This is a 4-inch thick piece of aluminum after a tiny piece of plastic collided with it in space.

The plastic weighed only half an ounce and traveled 15 miles per hour. Imagine if it was going at a faster speed! This piece of plastic was absolutely decimated. NASA put this on display to show how space junk is a serious problem nowadays. So much random junk pollution is floating around in space that collisions like this are happening more often.
