Whether it’s daily or once in a blue moon, whether train, bus, or cable car, whether because we can’t afford a car or because we’re too drunk to drive one, many of us are reliant on public transportation to get us from point A to point B. Yet some people see these shared means of transportation as a perfect location for all sorts of other activities that aren’t part and parcel of a regular commute. Here are some of the more unexpected things people have been spotted doing throughout their journeys, some to our joy and some to our dismay.
#1: Feeding Time
You might not be surprised that many of our observations will involve animals in places where they aren’t usually seen or doing things they don’t usually do. In this case, someone has decided the train would be a perfect place to open an animal hospital.
It’s not that there’s anything particularly unreasonable about nursing your cat on the subway. It just tends not to be the done thing, but well done to this very caring individual. Of course, the situation is made slightly more comic by the sign above that reads vetted and verified, pun not intended.
