Argus Filch
Argus Filch, the cantankerous caretaker of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is described in the books as a rather pitiable figure. He is often depicted as a tall, hunchbacked man with thinning, greasy hair and a scraggly beard. His face is perpetually sour, with deep-set eyes that seem to glare at students with suspicion and contempt.

Filch’s attire is no less disheveled, typically wearing worn-out and ill-fitting clothing that matches his unkempt appearance. His appearance serves as a reflection of his generally unpleasant demeanor, as he takes great pleasure in enforcing the school’s strict rules and punishing students for even minor infractions. Filch’s appearance and character create a memorable contrast to the magical world of Hogwarts, emphasizing his role as the school’s disciplinarian and custodian.
