These Real-Life Mysteries Made Us Want to Buy a Night Light

This story goes to show that you shouldn’t ask questions you don’t want answers to. After this storyteller’s grandmother passed away, they innocently asked, “Are you there?” when they were alone at her house. It sounds like this person is kind of a skeptic because they weren’t really expecting an answer. They sure got one, though!

Not long after asking, a curtain rod fell out of nowhere and broke a porcelain statue that was part of a set. It’s extra creepy that the porcelain statue was of an older couple. That may have been an omen because our storyteller’s grandfather passed away the year after. Strangely enough, the other porcelain statue broke after his passing. We think this house is trying to tell them something!
