These Wild Christmas Stories Made Us Thankful For Our Own Weird Family

Are you kidding me? “Apparently recycling presents is a thing for some people”?! It’s pretty much standard practice across every circle I’ve ever been a part of – social, familial, professional, or political. I’ve been regifted everything from unopened candies made in the 1950s to used socks complete with dirty soles.

Unfortunately, I’ve never heard of an instance of regifting quite this severe. Serious rashes and chemical burns are not nearly as simple to bear as candy that needs to be chewed for half an hour or that strange odor that appears to be coming from my feet. I hope this victim manages to maintain a relationship with their boyfriend’s relatives in the future.
