#41: Typing Skills
It seems odd to say that typing skills were different over 30 years ago, but it’s true. Most people assume that kids are born with the ability to type, but that’s simply not true. We still need to learn the basics of typing before we can fly away on the keys.

Most typing interfaces have auto-correct and spellcheck these days, making it easier than ever to type up a paper. Heck, there are even programs that type text for you as you speak! However, most of us older folks had to learn to type the hard way. We didn’t have auto-correct. If we made a mistake, we had to use the good old-fashioned backspace. Spelling and accuracy were key.
