#20: Nutrition Facts
We’ve all been there – standing in the snack aisle, carefully examining the back of a package to see how many calories and grams of fat are in our favorite treat. But sometimes, the numbers don’t quite add up. We’ll see that a snack has only 100 calories, but then we’ll eat the whole bag, and suddenly, we’ve consumed 500 calories.
We’re left feeling duped and wondering why we even bother looking at the nutritional information in the first place. Maybe it’s time for snack manufacturers to start being more transparent about the actual calorie count of their products. Or, we can just embrace the irony and enjoy our snacks in blissful ignorance of their true nutritional value. After all, ignorance is bliss – and delicious.
