A Literary Twist
Seattle’s very own Anthony Ray, better known by his stage name Sir Mix-a-Lot, rose to fame with his regional rap hits. His 1992 hit ‘Baby Got Back,’ from the album ‘Mack Daddy,’ not only conquered the charts but also became an anthem across different markets, showcasing his versatility and knack for creating catchy tunes.
The song ‘Baby Got Back,’ celebrated for its homage to the female form, stirred controversy, leading to a temporary ban by MTV. Nonetheless, a library took this chance to reimagine the song with a twist, replacing its original lyrics with ones that praised the world of literature, transforming it into a clever and unique masterpiece.
