Untold Production Secrets That Happened on Different Hollywood Sets

This must be one of the far-fetched near-disaster stories to come out of Hollywood. I’ve heard of many stunt injuries, but not many of them have involved active volcanoes. I don’t know if it’s because most films don’t involve active volcanoes or because most people are careful when dealing with them.

It all started with a helicopter crashing into the volcano, and even though all of the occupants survived, that would have been enough in and of itself. But even after one of the actors was rescued, two more were left on the (smoldering) volcano for nearly forty-eight hours.
