Resting and Recovering

Lee Ann spent the next few weeks at the hospital after the bear attack, under the watchful gazes of the nurses and the doctors, to make sure she was recovering properly. She had sustained quite a few serious wounds, scalp lacerations that required stitches, facial fractures from hitting the concrete, and her arm was battered and bruised from the bite. But miraculously, none of it was serious or lethal, and she was quickly on the road to recovery.
